There was a time when I believed my fate was already written.
A time when I woke up each morning knowing that my 𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙨, 𝙢𝙮 𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙬𝙚𝙖𝙥𝙤𝙣, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙮 𝙚𝙭𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙄 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙖𝙡𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙩.
I was 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.
Trained to obey.
Expected to endure.
But the worst part? 𝗜 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲.
I thought suffering was my destiny.
That fear was my forever.
That 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀.
Until one day… I did.
I still remember the night everything changed.
I stood in a room filled with voices that didn’t belong to me. Men deciding my future, my worth, my limits.
And in that moment, I had two choices: Stay silent, or fight for a life I had never been allowed to imagine.
𝗜 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁.
It wasn’t easy.
It wasn’t instant.
It took years of breaking, healing, and rebuilding myself from the ground up.
